At WORR Metal Fabrication Ltd, we are proud to collaborate with Northumbria University's Newcastle Business School through their innovative Business Clinic programme. After successfully participating in 2023/2024, we are excited to continue this valuable partnership in 2025.

What is the Business Clinic?

​

The Business Clinic at Newcastle Business School is an award-winning educational initiative where groups of final-year undergraduate and master's students act as ‘consultancy firms’ to deliver free, professional business advice to real-world organisations. Instead of completing a traditional dissertation, students undertake consultancy projects supported by experienced Business Clinic staff.

These projects involve:

• In-depth analysis of business challenges

• Identifying solutions through rigorous research

• Providing detailed reports with justified recommendations

• Presenting findings directly to the client​

The Business Clinic creates a win-win situation for both students and businesses:

• For WORR Metal Fabrication Ltd: We gain access to fresh, research-driven insights and practical recommendations tailored to our business needs—solutions we might not have the time or resources to explore internally.

Proven Results

Since its inception in 2013, the Business Clinic has supported over 500 organisations, helping more than 2,000 students deliver consultancy reports collectively valued at over £2.75 million. On average, each project is estimated to provide £5,500 worth of pro bono value to businesses.
